Taylor Rector a 9th grader won the 2009 Club level Speakout contest. Taylor Rector represented our Zone at District Convention in Kingston. Although she did not win the contest she did a wonderful job and walked away with a trophy, certificate and cash. Congratulations Taylor.
Walk for Dog Guides was held on Sunday May 31st at the Town Hall. Had a beautiful day and a great turnout. $1000.00 was raised.
Cancer Relay for Life event was held at the Lions grounds on June 12 - 13 2009 . Special thanks to all the lions who participated especially Lion Rusty.
TV Bingo every Tuesday night at 6:00 PM at the Lions Den.
Old Homeweek changed to Wednesday July 15th through Saturday July 18th. Parade on Wednesday, Doll carriage parade on Thursday July 16, Queen's pageant Friday July 17. Carnval 15th through 18th.
Charter night will be held at the Lions Recreation Centre on June 20, 2009
